Social Media Networking Day Terms & Conditions.  

All our events are pre-paid and pre-registered only. All payments must be completed prior to entry to the session.  Sussex Business Bureau is referred to as "The event organiser"

 

Data Protection Information

By attending the session you have agreed to allow us to share your data with the event organiser. Data supplied will be used responsibly by the event organiser, and will only be shared with the Guest Speakers, and event partners. Your data will not be supplied to any third parties by the event organisers. 

You must attend and participate fully in order to qualify for the attendee database to be supplied to you. No refunds or data will be given to you if you do not attend. This is non negotiable. You will only receive the data for the session you attend. 
 

To comply with Data Protection, you must not supply information onto any third party or any other individual; the information supplied during the sessions is for the use of the individual participant only.  If and when contacting other particpants, you must also observe the current rules and regulations.

Our  "LOCK OUT POLICY" will not operate for this event.

Fees are not transferable to any subsequent event organised by the event organiser.

Once each session has commenced our contract is deemed to have been fulfilled in full.

Only the named individual can attend without prior notice. The event organisers cannot be held responsible for delays or late start.

The sessions will last approximately  3-4 hours including breaks. Please ensure you are able to participate fully.

No photography, filming or podcasts may be taken or made without prior written permission made to of the event organiser.

Participation or attendance does not infer a recommendation, referral or recommendation for any attending company or individual.

Visitors or participants are not permitted to distribute literature within the venue, except within the area provided. They will be asked to leave if they do so. 

The event organiser and venue management have the right to refuse admittance into this event and have the right to ask participants and visitors to leave the event. Their decision is final.

During the afternoon Speed Networking session, you will be guided on where to stand and/or sit and movements needed. These instructions must be followed at all times.

Please respect the other attendees and move as instructed. The success of the sessions depends on the cooperation of all the participants. This will minimize the length of the session and ensure you meet as many people as possible.

By participating you agree to observe and follow the verbal and visual instructions during the session.

Bring minimal personal possessions with you. You will be asked to keep your possessions away from the speed networking area but within view in room, ensuring hands are free to be able to give and receive business cards and complete some simple paperwork, during the sessions. Failure to do so, may result in you being asked not to particpate. The event organiser accepts no liability for your property for loss or damage howsoever caused.

You will require standard size business cards, literature is optional for the session.

Pens, paper, clipboards etc will be provided for this event for your convenience.

Please remember to car share and/or use public transport wherever possible attending our events.
